Isaac's Bank

I decided Isaac needed a bank . I also decided I should stay with something I know how to do. So, I made the bank with the same techniques I used to make my kayak. I used 2 coffee cans duct taped together for a form and built the bank from strips of Hawaiian koa wood left over from a project of uncle Jeremy.

The first pic shows me ready to cut the bank in half. I needed to do that so we would be able to open the bank some time in the future.

The second pic shows the inside of the bank after I fiberglassed it for strength.

At the bottom of the third pic, you can see the wide strips I had glued together to be used for the ends.

The bottom of the fourth pic shows Some of the left over strips from the assembly of the body of the bank.

And finally the finished bank.
